Frequently asked questions
How much does rental in Rome cost?
Rental starts from an all-inclusive daily rate: VAT and transport (delivery and collection) included, with no hidden costs. The daily cost decreases as the duration increases.
How and when do you pay?
To secure availability, payment must be made in advance within 2 days of ordering, by bank transfer, PayPal or credit/debit card. Where available, payment on delivery can be arranged.
Do you deliver the aids to hotels or B&Bs?
Yes. Let the property know about the delivery in your name: we'll then take care of arranging the appointment. At hotels with 24-hour reception we deliver, where possible, the day before your arrival and collect after your departure, even in your absence. At B&Bs and apartments, the host must be present to allow access.
How does cancellation work?
Cancellation is free up to 5 days (120 hours) before delivery. After this deadline, the full amount is charged. Last-minute orders (within 5 days) are non-refundable if the service cannot be provided due to logistical reasons beyond our control.
Is a security deposit required?
It depends on the aid: for manual ones (wheelchairs, walkers) no deposit is required; for electric ones (mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs) a refundable deposit or Easy Travel coverage applies.
Do you work with intermediaries?
No: VEM handles every order directly with its own staff, with no brokers or intermediaries. From booking to delivery, you always deal with us.
