FAQ
How much does it cost to rent a car in Rome?
Rentals start at an all-inclusive daily rate: VAT and transportation (delivery and pick-up) included, with no hidden costs. The daily rate decreases as the rental period increases.
How and when do you pay?
To secure availability, payment must be made in advance within 2 days of placing your order, via bank transfer, PayPal, or credit/debit card. Where applicable, cash on delivery can be arranged.
Do you deliver aids to hotels or B&Bs?
Yes. Notify the hotel of the delivery on your behalf: we'll then arrange a time. In hotels with 24-hour reception, we deliver, if possible, the day before your arrival and collect after your departure, even in your absence. In B&Bs and apartments, the host must be present for access.
How does cancellation work?
Cancellations are free up to 5 days (120 hours) before delivery. After this time, the full amount will be charged. Last-minute orders (within 5 days) are non-refundable if the service is unavailable for logistical reasons beyond our control.
Is a security deposit required?
It depends on the aid: for manual ones (wheelchairs, walkers), no deposit is required; for electric ones (scooters and electric wheelchairs), a refundable deposit or Easy Travel coverage is required.
Do you work with intermediaries?
No: VEM manages every order directly with its own staff, without brokers or intermediaries. From booking to delivery, you always speak to us.
