No, our bariatric wheelchair comes in one universal size, with a 24.4-inch wide seat and a maximum supported weight of 440 lbs.
How do I fold and load the wheelchair into my car?
All of our wheelchairs fold easily with a simple pull of the seat, allowing them to be loaded into a car and stored at home without taking up unnecessary space.
Can I transfer the patient out of the wheelchair without them standing up?
Yes — because our bariatric wheelchairs feature flip-back armrests, you can raise both side armrests and slide the patient laterally off the seat for a safe transfer. This feature is especially important as it allows even patients with very limited mobility to use our wheelchairs comfortably.
Are your wheelchairs suitable for both indoor and outdoor use?
All of our wheelchairs can be used indoors and outdoors alike. For indoor environments, we do recommend checking for very narrow hallways, doorways, or small elevators and letting our team know in advance, so we can ensure the right size is delivered to you.
Are footrests included?
Our wheelchairs come standard with basic footrests. On request, these can be swapped for elevating leg rests — essential when the patient needs to keep one or both legs extended. This accessory is provided at no additional cost.
