This information describes the methods of processing the personal data of users who consult the site www.vemrent.com (hereinafter the “Site”) and who use the equipment rental, transfer, and booking services offered through the Site. This information is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 (“Privacy Code”).

2. Types of data processed
The Site may process the following categories of personal data:
- Personal and contact details: name, surname, email, telephone number, delivery address/accommodation, provided to make reservations, request quotes or assistance.
- Order and payment dataRental details, amounts, and transaction data. Payment card details are processed directly by payment service providers (Stripe, PayPal) and are not stored by the Owner.
- Navigation data: IP address, type of browser and device, pages visited, date and time of access, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie Policy).
- Communication data: content exchanged via support chat, WhatsApp, contact forms, or email.

4. Method of treatment
The data is processed using electronic and, where necessary, paper-based tools, adopting appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure security and confidentiality and to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Processing is carried out by the Data Controller and by authorized and trained persons pursuant to Art. 29 GDPR.
5. Recipients of the data
The data may be disclosed to entities acting as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR or as independent data controllers, including:
- Site hosting and infrastructure provider;
- payment service providers (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., PayPal (Europe) S.à rl);
- providers of statistical analysis and marketing tools (Google, Meta) – with prior consent;
- providers of chat and support services (Tawk.to, Intercom) and WhatsApp messaging services (Meta);
- Site translation service provider (GTranslate);
- consultants, professionals, and companies that perform accounting, tax, legal, and shipping activities;
- public authorities, where required by law.

6. Transfer of data outside the EU
Some of the above-mentioned providers (in particular Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., and other US services) may process data in non-EU countries. In such cases, the transfer is based on adequate guarantees pursuant to Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the adequacy decision relating to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission, possibly supplemented by additional measures. A copy of the guarantees can be requested from the Data Controller.
7. Retention period
- Data relating to contracts, orders and invoicing: for the duration of the relationship and for 10 years for tax and legal obligations.
- Contact and communication data: for the time necessary to process the request and manage any subsequent relationships.
- Data collected through cookies: according to the durations indicated in the Cookie PolicyCookie consent is retained until 6 months, unless revoked early.
8. Nature of the provision
Providing data for contractual and legal purposes is necessary; failure to provide it will prevent the conclusion and execution of the contract. Providing it for statistical and marketing purposes is optional, and refusal will not affect your use of the Site's services.
9. Rights of the interested party
As a data subject, pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
- request its rectification, updating or integration;
- request its deletion (“right to be forgotten”) in the cases provided for;
- request the limitation of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- obtain data portability;
- revoke the consent given at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.
