The Baths of Caracalla (3rd century AD) are among the best-preserved imperial thermal complexes in the world, and today also host summer shows.

Accessibility and concessions

Free entry for the person with disabilities and their companion, in addition to the first Sunday of the month.
The monument on the surface is flat: the main route is wheelchair accessible, with ramps.
Tactile map and tactile panels at the entrance; disabled parking in front of the site.
Not accessible the underground Mithraeum (steep stairs).

What aid do we recommend for this visit?

The surface route is accessible: wheelchairs are fine, with sturdier wheels available for the sections on archaeological terrain. The underground Mithraeum is not accessible.

From Fiumicino / Ciampino — connection to Termini, then Metro B; alternatively, a door-to-door transfer.
